Me: Please excuse my tardiness... I was busy searching for seeds.
You: Seeds?
Me: Yup, seeds. I know, it's a little late to plant seeds for a September harvest. That's why I'm late. I was frantically searching.
You: What are you trying to grow?
Me: Um, well, two events...

I would love to have you as a guest on my blog on Sept. 21, Leanne.
Kathleen
Thank you, Kathleen. Let's make that happen.
However, for the Sept 21st I have to find a non-Decadent author blog.
Here's to rich soil, sun, and rain so that your seeds will grow into dreams come true. Cheers!
Thank you, Laurie. Why am I hearing "Johnny Appleseed" : )
I have been to Word On the Street. It is an awesome event! I picked up a book bag, went to a reading and purchased a signed copy of poet Sheri-D Wilson's The Sweet Taste of Lightning. I also sat on a bus and listened to Susan Musgrave read her poetry. I believe1999 was the first year of the event. It was a great day out and definitely worth it for writers, poets, readers and those who are aspiring to be in the industry. I hope you have a great time!
Thank you for your comment, Andrea. It sounds like a wonderful event--I'm counting the days. : )
