I wrote Loving Lisa--a very short story--in 2006. I rewrote it for this blog last Thursday.
***
Aster played with her ring, examined their wedding picture. Had he broken a promise? Though she tried to ignore the question-it remained. It was stuck in her brain like a seed in her teeth. She'd noticed that sweet, young thing--Lisa--hanging on his every word, swallowing him up with her eyes. Where was he right now? Was he loving Lisa?

Thank you all for your kind comments. A busy weekend prevented me from participating as much as I would have liked. I'll do better next weekend.
